The location
​
The Obersteinerhof in the southtyrolean Ahrntal Valley lies on 1440 meters above sea level. It is the highest located farm in the area and abuts the natural park Rieserferner-Ahrn. The village of Luttach / Lutago with restaurants, cafés and shops is 5 km away and reachable by car within 10 minutes troughout the year. Sand in Taufers / Campo Tures with more shopping facilities and the spa area Cascade is a 20 minutes drive away. The next city, Bruneck / Brunico, is half an hour by car.
Arrival

For a comfortable stay, we recommend to arrive by car. From North, West or South, follow the Brenner highway A22 and take the exit Brixen-Pustertal / Bressanone-Val Pusteria. Continue to Bruneck / Brunico, then follow the signs for Ahrntal / Valle Aurina. Right after the village of Luttach / Lutago, turn right and cross a small bridge which leads you up the hill (Herrenberg). At the end of the asphalted road you will find the Obersteinerhof. From East, drive from Spittal an der Drau (Austria) past Lienz (Austria) in direction Bruneck / Brunico. From there, follow the instructions above.
